Winter Leggings for Women: Which Warm Pair to Choose?

When the temperature drops, ordinary gym leggings soon show their limits: too thin, cold against the skin and not covering enough for a walk outside. Our velvet leggings were made for exactly that. The fabric is dense, so it keeps you warm without feeling heavy, for outdoor yoga or an autumn walk.

Why velvet leggings are warmer than regular leggings

Thin Lycra gym leggings let the air straight through. Velvet is denser: it traps a layer of air against your skin, so you feel properly warm without piling on base layers underneath. That makes velvet leggings a good choice for autumn and winter, much more than a thin printed pair.

Brushed or ribbed: which one for you?

Brushed velvet is softer and lighter. We recommend it for gentle yoga, stretching or simply a day at work. Ribbed velvet is denser and more structured: it's warmer, but better suited to calm activities (walking, Pilates, a day at the office) than to intense workouts. If staying warm is your number one priority, go for ribbed. You can also wear it during the day or in the evening for a sporty-chic look.

Putting together a full winter outfit
